I can hardly explain to you how wonderful it was to 
have the 20th century suddenly explained and 
dropped onto my plate like a possibility that would 
never end. And I remember when the lecture was 
over I was in this state of exalted completion 
almost, a guy who was studying for the priesthood 
who was taking this course sitting beside me got 
up and he said, “Wow, he was really out in left field 
today.  Did you get any of that?”  And we both left 
the same hall at the same time.
